Time served electronics and electrical engineer, qualified to City and Guilds A and B Electrical Technicians, ONC and HNC levels. Started working with cash registers, some 30 years ago. Worked for Gross, NCR and Toshiba TEC companies. I am now a very proud main dealer in the UK for Vectron EPOS systems who are based in Muenster Germany. I carry out roles as Sales Engineer consultant Hospitality, using Vectron Touch Screen firmware platform.
I now also supply and support both New and Refurbished Epson Printers and am now an approved Re-Seller for Epson.
Been working in Paint Shop Pro, for about 11 years and more recently have become quite proficient in Abobe Photoshop and have been a Poser artist since 2005. I love soul music and it has been my good fortune to have met many famous soul & blues musicians, on the internet, some of whom are on my email list and as such, I have contact with them.
It is my privilege, to be married to a lovely girl called Cathy, who has such a tremendous flair for fine artwork and also produces, excellent work in Daz Studio. (GOLDILOCKSUK) BIO Started working in Poser and Bryce in June 2004. I still consider myself a beginner. There are far more talented artists than myself on Renderosity and their formidable talent, never ceases to amaze me, especially Ilona and Swam, Noyrac, Maddelerium and Bez, whose work and products I admire immensely. Thanks for visiting. Steve :o)

hmm..way better than my current stuff, much less the 1st one..;) Go by the Poser forum here, ask questions..and for heaven's sake, don't preface it by saying you're anything less than intelligent (some reason people do that there more than anywhere..;) They're very helpful, and I've seen the answer to your question in there at some point, now if I could only remember what it is..looks like 2 models and a Poser figure in the background..;) You can get Vickie Lo-res, Mike Lo-res, or Dina by getting current or recent back issues of 3d World, Digit, Computer Art, which have Poser models for about $15 (don't know what that comes to in Euros or Pounds..;), which is the cost of the magazine here..and best of all, since they're all English magazines, you can get them in the month they're printed, rather than waiting 6 weeks like we do..;) promising start..;)

This is first Poser image ?...Wow...Excellent work.

Steve, there are 2 ways to do backgrounds with Poser - either directly inside (load a background image in) or outside (using postwork by saving the poser comp as a transparent PNG file). Good luck
antje
Well.. you did real well on the composition ;o) Don't feel bad.. Poser takes time to learn. Importing a background is easy.. just click on "file", "Import", "Background picture" ;o)... voila!! hehe.. You'll be a pro in no time :o)

Hey, you did a great job! And your Poser guy looks like he's in pretty good company ... even looks like he's in a Brittany video. Keep going because you have a flair and your stuff if very fun (not funny) to view. Looking forward to more.:o) CC
CarolSassy
Since I don't have Poser I cannot judge this. It is however a pretty scene. Did you look over in the freeby section of the Poser community? Maybe there is something there to help you. There are also tutorials there. Some of the poser users hang out in the regular Renderosity chatroom as well. Good luck with it! (:
hoskins78
Well....that's one way to go! LOL This is how it starts! As everyone says you would be well advised to cough up for Vicki3 and then go on from there! The initial outlay will be worth it and you'll be able to compare your stuff with ours more easily! I look forward to seeing what you come up with! Great fun!
