ended up with the car door and my shoulder as the tripod for 8 sec exposure :) gotta get a tripod... thanks for looking

Why spend money on a tripod?... you have several (a knee, an elbow, the hood of the car) that work wonderfully... at least you take fantastic shots using them! What's that saying?... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Love your photography!
