Description

When designing the Enterprise-E for Star Trek First Contact, John Eaves, who designed the Enterprise, found a way for the Soverign Class starship to separate. Forutnately this modified mesh is pretty close to the separation scheme. The Enterprise mesh was made by Ed Giddings and can be found at http://www.trekmeshes.ch.

The movie with the seperation and crash, was Generations, the 7th movie. It was the end of the Enterprise-D

Giddings makes some great meshes..supposedly there was an alternate ending shot for Generations, but it tested poorly with beta audiences..;) can't have too many Star Trek renders..;)
