Trying out the new plants from e-on (free from www.e-onsoftware.com). This is the eucalypt that is based on the cherry tree. Found the size a big large for producing many of them so I made my own out of the good old rural maple to fill the background.
btw... a billibong is a water hole found along the many dry rivers within Australia.

I have not used this tree yet I dont think, but it is the roots that I find the most striking. An excellent render. Lighting is realistic and reflections are beautiful. Well done. I am also stunned with the texture-work. You have my vote:)

You sure did well on this one! The subtle blue lighting is great, and combined with the flawless work you did one the roots, this is a great one! And the kangaroos are a nice touch! :) I do however feel, that the water lakcs some rippels? Could add some movement to the piece... still, a great one!
