Description

Wings3D, Bryce, UV-Mapper & Photoshop. The original is about 2000 * 800 pixels. It feels a bit stupid to post this so "late" because I've seen that everybody is making star fields and painting planets nowadays. The scene & spaceship is based on the opening "scene" from the sci-fi comic book: Yanns adventures - The planet of Illusions (1978). More stuff on my homepage: www.colacola.se Hope you like it!

I like the look of reentered titanium it becomes this piece. Reading about the flight yesterday finally taking private enterprise to the edge of space long after Scott Crossfield hung up his pressure suit was just as tingley.

A wonderful image, and just because other people make images of space doesn't mean YOU shouldn't!

Everyone may be making them, but they all don't look this good. This is just amazing. The textures, scale, and lighting are perfect.

Excellent image. The texturing is superb on everything in the entire scene, and I like the lighting and the modeling on the ship also.
