Description

World Machine terrain. I'm using the Perlinator technique (thx 2 Martin for creating the name, LOL) I intended to build a picture, which is both - Fantasy & Reality in one. You know I prefer desert scenes... :)

Excellent Lutz !

I like the haze effect, creates focus points in the image, eyes move around nicely from forground to background. The surfacing is excellent as usual. =)

You are a master at your art...just stunning. Your WM technique is fascinating. I've tried getting similiar results but cannot hit on the right combination, the registered version has great lattitude and you obviously know how to get the best out of it. V

All has been said; yet, I must say this terrain is not the usual 'vanilla' we see. Combined with your unique surfaces, this image is way beyond excellent.

I love this! A very plausible but totally alien terrain and surface. If you like to depict the desert in other scenes, be sure and use lots of blue skies, because if it is dark and rainy as often as in your images, the desert would turn green. ;)
