Very good water! The resizing of your image left aliasing on your terrain's edges. Now about the atmo, I like the rays, but with a sun so low, shouldn't we expect some sunset colours?

The aliasing came from not using the Extra blended detail - something I should have checked off. As far as sunset colors - not necessarily, although adding more dramatic colors would have made for a more striking image. This image is more serendipity than anything else: the only things not at a default settings are Sun placement and sky size/height, and, of course, the terrain and world. Believe it or not. :)

Very nice atmo and water. The land is a bit too dark for me. I know that this is very hard to handle but this is the target. ;-)

I think I have fished here at some point in my life! I think this captures a great mood - the sun doesn't always have to be redish to make the point! I agree about the land - a little detail here would have finsihed it off perfectly. The water appears dark, deep and COLD!

Love the rays. Agree with the above on the dark land. Would like to see more!

Thanks for the comments. I could re-render this using Extra-blended detail to remove the aliasing and color the land a bit to lighten it up some. Maybe I'll do that... :)

EBD doesn't effect terrain edges at all. It blends "interior pixels" only. The other 2 anti-aliasing options - Fast Sub-pixel Smoothing and Ultra Anti-aliasing - are the ones which effect terrain edges.

Ahhh...then I must not have had the Ultra etc. turned on...
