Description

0200 GMT: The Enigma passes through the outer atmosphere of Jupiter to fill her fuel cells with hydrogen and other vital gasses. Once full, the Enigma sets course for the outer reaches of the solar system. There, the captain has been given orders to work up her near light speed capable engines. The engines are capable of light speed in the computer models but they have never achieved it in testing. This run has been secretly set to prove them true

Good work. I can't think why a lightspeed prototype would be so huge (is it a passenger liner?) It's also hard to see the shape of the front, because it's dark on black - but it seems like some windows are cut in half there.

simple physics..you have to expel enough mass at near-luminal velocities to propel the ship forward, and all that mass has to be stored somewhere..;) according to Einstein, the amount would have to be nearly infinite..but why let that get in the way..great pic, btw..

Einstein is old school! The assault on light speed has already begun! But, enough of all that physics stuff. The image is good, but it would benefit from a more dramatic angle and from allowing us to see the front shape more clearly. Perhaps a change to the material? Or, you could add some light to illuminate the hull (kinda like they don in Star Trek). Good start, and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Excellent work. Nobody knows for sure whether light speed is even a reality, there is no certainty about anything, how can someone know how fast light speed is, if they havent even gone that fast? how do they know it is NOT possible? the only way to find out is to try... like in this image ;)
