Description
When I took this picture I was so excited to see how it looked. It's the shadow of the plane in a rainbow with a mountain scene in the background.

Specular reflection can bring such delights; a part of the constellation of effects that come with rainbows, there is a special name for this one which I'll have to search further, but these are seen from an airplane ... therefore, out of the only several times I've been privileged to fly, I have seen this only once, it was shockingly crisp but impossible for me to have caught a photo of that one ~ so I was equally excited that somebody has finally done so and put it where I could see it!

This is the famous glory effect, causing rainbow rings around the observing photographer! Beautiful shot!
