Description
another commission piece for stevo's story. the description i was given was 'male elf with sword.' yeah. so. i think i did pretty well with that description. ^_^
i wanted an oriental elf, since you hardly see anything but european elves in mainstream stuff. also, i've always wanted a character with either blue hair or blue-black hair ^_^.
did some research for his frog (the thingy that attaches the scabbard to the swordbelt) and his pauldron (shoulder-thingy that you can't see from here) so they would be realistic. i think it's about 17th century German on both.
that said, i absolutely adore his hair, and that's probably the plainest sword i've ever drawn...
milennium .01 mm pen and Prismacolor markers.

this is SO beautiful! what a fantastic character. i really love his face and hair, and the clothing is simply awesome. the blue works really well. :) i just love it, bravo! :)
