Description

How often does this happen? I created detailed models for a room, the stairs are marble, with a bevelled step and a nice iron hand rail. The room has skirting boards all around, textured wallpaper, blinds at the window, woodwork surround. The floor is made of 100 cubes to get a 3d gap(albeit small) between the boards. And then I lose all that with POV and DOF , oh well. The train is Tony Lynch's. Everything else created by me in Bryce. A bit of post 'cause, as I was informed, it was a bit dark. (Love you petal) ;-)

Does it make noise? Sometimes all those lost details just make the image look that much more realistic.

Wow. Excellent work. Terrific textures and lighting. DOF and POV look great, still, would love to see more of the room details sometime.

yeah I agree with you about the stairs and the wallpaper. Can't see any of those details there. But the rest of it... well, you can see the cracks in the floor, and you can just barely see the window blinds and can certainly see the shadows from the blinds. And those details add a lot to the realism of this image. Very impressive!

Cool scene, I love the floor even if it's difficult to tell what you did, but I think it's a nice touch! Still, Bryce's DOF looks grainy and obnoxious, at best. Perhaps just do it in post?

Updated slightly to correct DOF, as SDL said the DOF was grainy and obnoxious. ;-)

I love this. This is so realistic--it makes me want to nudge the marbles into motion. I don't think you lost anything; this is perfect.
