Description

Roland, one of those folks who can make a day a little brighter. Mailman, ex Marine D.I., and talented amateur athelete in his day. A helluva guy.

This is very lovely to let him know that he is special....we all need friends around us...friends are very important need....and if people say I don't need them then he or she is a liar.....life is full of bad things, we must try to make each day count....so I guess Roland will be happy if he read your words......please visit My poetry

That is so beautiful to do this for him, and that you appreciate him so well. It is something that is not done often enough for the people around us that mean such things to us.

...well -- Roland just reminds me of all those warm - friendly people down there in Virginia --- that certain southern hospitality that people exude...it's the best thing about the region and what I miss most......oh! ( ...love those hurricanes too! ).........nicely captured, Jim!

a wonderful portrait and tribute to him! He has such warm eyes, and i get the feeling he is great with kids!!! Bet he gives huge bear hugs and lets ride atop his shoulders!!!
