Description

I got this idea the other day, and this image is on its way to being something else. No, it was not rendered at a low resolution! Terrain is modified from one by EoinArmstrong. Thank you. I've been busy on other projects, but I am also working on some more long term things in Terragen. Comments in other languages welcome.

Looks like a close up of a discarded paper bag, or wrapping paper... I kind of like it... :O)

another image that reminds me of the painters of the 1930's, as they explored the 'new' abstraction and a new way of ordering the canvas in 2D - definitely different for Terragen

Perhaps it is an inversion of detail as well as surface. By filling the middle ground it denies that zooming has ended with the horizon unseen.

However the pixels size-out; I still see this as a slot canyon Pat...excellent idea!!

"Needs Touch-Ups"? No!

@ choronr: actually one of the things I am working on with this idea is a slot canyon. I rendered a successful one earlier today, but I don't know if I will go with that one, or choose another. This slot canyon won't require any post-processing.
