Heya mates!!
here is a little serie of photos taken yesterday at the "johannesfeuer"...people in germany celebrating the midsummer like this...they make a big fire and burn it down in hope of a good corp and no bad ghosts ;-)

isn't it amazing how things can be viewed by different people. When I saw it and read the title, I immediately thought of the 'firestorm' attacks of WWII. Incediary bombs spread with standard explosive flowing through towns like a tidal wave. I see the horror of builds torn apart by fire...and yet they are just wooden boxes (I presume). Amazing shot...really amazing
