Description
Where I go every day: (Henry likes BIG sticks, the size of small logs, it takes a lot of impulse from his owner to hike those into the River ... he ain't built to float, but, albeit low in the water, Henry does swim.) This one isn't half cleaned up and never will get the full treatment, this back light and bad angles don't offer material for that, we need to accept this digital shot, as with so many others, is NOT a good photograph;
what we DO get brings the question: is the ballet of the Moment sometimes enough ...

Of course I know where, judging by the shoreline, I know when. Actually this is a good image for many reasons: Its crisp clean detail captures movement, yet no blur. And most important, it captures the moment a dog and his companion, out having some fun and R&R. Great paddle-wheel in the background, bonus.

A great shot... and I know of what you speak. I have taken several pics that are not exactly great artistically, but great in that they well convey something special, as does the above which, by the way, "ain't that bad".

oh nooooooooo... he'll get run over by the big boat! :p nice throwing form there, cute little pugnose guy... i feel i'm on the mississippi... i like it, it's a fun shot, a slice of life as they say :]

Looks like Pettie River to me, looks like your having fun with a loved one and as far as the image goes it shows the Stong bond between the 2 of you and your common ground thanks for sharing your day with use ~Chris~
