Cool wall texture, and a very nice idea you've got here. You might make the sofa larger, though. It seems out of scale with the table and the background pieces. The British-looking coat of arms seems out of place, as do the modern looking table and floor. How about stone table legs with an etched glass top, a slightly more beige sofa with some throw pillows that pick up the Egyptian motif (use the texture from the painting maybe), and possibly a marble floor or pale granite tiles? And trade the fluorescent tubes for track lighting with a nice granite texture on the lights. Home Depot won't have it, but hey, this is Bryce. Live it up! Spare no expense! Just my ideas. Feel free to ignore.

I like the wall texture. I agree that the couch kind of looks out of place in this scene, but the rest is really good. Cool Egyptian art.
