Description

Carpenteria californica (common name: Bush Anemone) is a California native plant found in dry granite ridges and slopes between 1200 and 4000' in foothill woodland and Yellow Pine forests. It's also found in my yard ;) The water droplet (after a thunderstorm) caught my eye and thought it would make an interesting composition. Photographed with a Nikon 5700 CP
