Description

While our Scoutship scanned the extraordinary large moon of the gas giant orbiting γ - Draconis a magnetic abnormality was detected. Scanning the area allowed to localize the center of the disturbance. Deep Radar Scanning indicate a huge Artifact that seems to be buried about 66% in the planetary surface. A sphere made of unknown pulsating material embedded in a frame made of also unkown metal. The sphere itself seems to not interact with its enviroment, as no sand or trace of erosion is found on it. The metal frame however exhibits signs of erosion. The Structure looks very close to the one found in the θ - Draconis system.(AA3) Possibly remnants of the same race. The shown image was taken by an atmospheric Recon shuttle and the pilots called this one "The citadel" Preliminary analysis indicate, that we are advancing further into the ruins of a long fallen culture... My comments: IDEA: Ok, this is part IV of my Alien Artifacts. :) I am not completly sure with this image. I think something is wrong with it, but i can't tell what it is. TERRAIN: Terrain created with Photoshop, Terrabrush and TF2 and blended in Terragen and TF2 THANKS: Many thanks for your kind comments on my last posts! I hope you like this one. Comments, critics and/or advise is (as always ;) very welcome. Thanks for viewing and Happy Rendering :o) Matthias

I like your artifact and your mountains very much. I think probably the color on the mountains is a little oversaturated, and the waves don't look natural. But other than that, this is a beautiful picture.
