Description

My second work in Vue. Been working with Bryce a lot but I think Vue is much nicer when it comes to landscapes and vegetation. Please leave your comments behind. Maybe I've placed the whole scene to close to the camera because I'm not really happy the way the ground and rock look like. Is this the case? Thanks for viewing

I think it is well arranged and has an interesting POV. Only the ferns seem a bit too large and numerous.

I too love the pov and the composition. Rocks are always a little difficult to do in Vue, especially when you use the rocks the program offers. Maybe you scale the texture down a little, then it will probably look better. Without looking bad at all right now.

Lovely image with beautiful use of vegetation. As far as terrain, if you set it at 512, you might want to increase it to 1024.

I agree with the other comments, the pov is great! As far as refining the terrain, here are some suggestions: Try applying some erosion effects to the terrain to smooth out the jagged edges, also, the grass texture probably should blend into a sandy texture before it gets to the water. It's a good start though, the vegetation is perfect and goes well with the atmosphere. Well Done!
