Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

I'd say beautiful, but still I have some strange feeling about the light...

I love the beautiful shape of this orchid!! It took me a second or so to spot the spider, he has great camouflage. Super image =)

Its beautiful !!! I have the same kind of spiders in my garden sitting on a variety of flowers. Its probably not the same spider, but by the looks of it i'd say its the same family. The spiders seem the prefer to sit in the flowers of a certain plant: "buzzing for food" by Johan Winkelman. I guess they wait there to catch small insects. Very interesting shot you made here, thanks for sharing !!! Excellent work my friend !!

What a great capture, I like it better than tomorrows because you are so close and get to see the tiny detail, like your spidery friend. Great capture!!!
