Description
True story: in high school, I was a chorus member in the school production of Carousel. In that show, there's a scene in which this homemaker-type character, Netty, brings out donuts for the men who've been helping set up for a clambake. Well, during the penultimate performance, the girl who was playing Netty brought out the platter as usual... and nobody noticed until it was too late that she'd liberally sprinkled the donuts with cayenne pepper. And we had to eat them, on stage. Needless to say, a lot of choristers made a beeline for the water fountain immediately after the scene was over.

That's funny Thanks for the laugh.

You might want to try a joke that's more universally funny instead of relying on an inside joke. I really didn't think it was funny. Good render, though.

Actually, the line itself was stolen from one of my old gaming friends, a few years before the above-mentioned event occurred. I just used the story to place it in perspective. I grant that irony requires a specialized sense of humor to appreciate, just like any other comic style. I honestly don't care how many people are amused, so long as SOMEONE is (and by the first comment up there, I've already made my quota :)

Very unique approach, nice blend of poser and handdrawn. I think it's a cute anecdote, doesn't matter to me whether it's "universally funny."

Wonder how many choristers could keep a straight face after eating those donuts! Very, very good morph on that poor guy - and a nasty little trick from Netty!
There is no such thing as "universally funny." At least not that I know of. I really like the irony of the text you included in the image, but I think Netty's joke was rather crude.
Good job!

Yes... we thought so too :) The drama coach was not impressed...
