Nice Idea - allow me to draw your attention to some details: The left ship has three flags at each mast ( windy - calm - no wind), also has the sails unfold and folded too. I have made the same mistake, so I did see it immediately. I think its worth getting rid of those you don't want... All in all an interesting image

Personally, I think the swells are a bit large for the ships. Is there some way you can change the scale of the water objects, so that there's much more of a difference between the size in the foreground and the size near the boats?

Very nice effort, but one quibble: both ships have the wind from behind (as indicated by the set of the sails). That means the wind is similtaneously blowing from opposite directions. It doesn't happen that way unless you're in the center of a typhoon...which this scene isn't.
