self-timed shot of me on holiday in mevagissey, cornwall, may 2004. nearly as happy as i could ever be, sitting alone on a bench overlooking the sea, the hedgerows and the endless green of an english spring...
normally, i live in the (us) pacific northwest. BIOmostly i shoot digital, and do standard darkroom-type manipulations in photoshop. the gorgeous work i see here on r'osity, however, is inspiring me to dig deeper into the wonders of photoshop ie. compositing, layering textures, etc.
i'd love any and all comments... thanks for stopping by!

eh... crap, i'm confused now. i thought this was a giant blue candytuft, but now i'm thinking it's a lilac scabiosa (pincushion flower). i'll have to go back to the garden store & ask...

p.s. this looks like Lilac Scabiosa Caucasia ("Miss Elliot") to me. Despite not knowing the exact genus of the flower, it's clear we all love the shot. Keep them coming.
