When you know someone and they know you, you can often discuss pretty much any subject matter openly and without offense. They'll likely know when you're being serious and when you aren't. Here though, you're surrounded by people who don't know you in the slightest, thus they have to take the content at face value. Such comments as that from Hythshade are to be expected with pieces such as this. Negro stereotypes, pimping and prostitution, slavery, that's quite a list. How would you expect a black R'osity member to react, for example? I think I can say I know you a little by now from things you've told me, and can just say "oh it's just Rik being controversial" and leave it at that... not everyone will be in a position to do this, thus you get shitty comments now and then ;-)

yea that right i see that on the net a lot and groups too like the blacks own the white girls and treat them like hos they need to listen to Bill Cosby he telling it like it is like this little toon of yours wish I can upload it on some of those so call interraceal sites. they laff about it but will do what they do anyway

When you stick your head out there will always be people on the witchhunt bandwagon, and right now the racist card is in effect. I understand how Renderosity has tried to clean itself up, yet thoughtless 10's and excellant ratings get thrown to everyone. Then when someone makes a target that's when the really weak crap hits the fan. Anyway, the message here is the most powerful phrase I know - Fuck It - as an artist you SHOULD speak the way you do... HythShade gave no explanation of how he felt and no suggestion. So, what were those two words?

Jim told it best I think. those who really know you know well there's any trace of racism in you at all. but it takes time and will to get deeply into your creativity and brave approach to art. and not everyone has resources (mental and heart connects there) to invest in that. go on.. and keep doing what you do.
