Description

This one is dedicated to Chorny. Inspired me off of a previous pic. Rendered in Bryce, no Postwork. As the party of adventurers neared the exit, the could feel the wind blowing through the tunnel. Too many days delving into the mountain below, it was great to be able to smell fresh air again. Seeing the exit, they let the guard down in their haste to see the sky. The green vines that they thought were simple foilage started to animate and began to attack. Sharp thorns dug into flesh and began to turn red as blood was siphoned away from their prey. Fortuanately, one member had hung back and was able to pull his fellows out of harm's grasp. There they sit, able to see a glimpse of the sky, but not knowing how to bypass this most vile of impediments. :-) Thanks for taking a peek Comments welcome and encouraged!

Awesome idea and image! I'm afraid I'd be dead, yet again, because I'd be starving to death as I tried to figure out how to get past those vines. I love the ideas you come up with and in how you're able to create the visions you have. Absolutely awesome work!

Really cool design!! Maybe a nice fireball spell would do the trick to clear out those vines. I like the texture on the cave!! Awesome job!!

When I see this one, I have to think of two old games. At first Creature Shock with its endless tunnels and corridors full of danger. And second Half Life. There were those tentacles hanging from the roof. Very nice picture! And a cool story. Could come out of a RPG.

Great, as usual, doc. When are you going to take yourself out of the beginner spot? You've proven you are no longer a novice.
