Description

this is for titta she do great pastals. This is my first one cents 1974; a fire burn them all up. Everyone say if you did something then years later you start again it like rideing a bike. as you can see I had two flax tires and fell off the bike over the handbars. the photo i took at the place i did mky pastals i did not copy the photo just nature. Sorry i posted this but I just wish to show whoever looks to just do it even if you fall{not in mountian climbing just in the arts; ok]

Thank you sooooooooooooo much Jocko! You really brightened my day with this beautiful and gentle pastel painting:-) I've been quite... down lately - so this came like a bright sunshine to my life! It's so wonderful to hear you have been inspired of my pastel works - there couldn't be better feedback!!! I really like this painting of yours - it has feeling, it has space, and air in it. You made a real success! Thank you so much! hugs -titta

Can't beat "real" media for texture and depth of color, excellent work!

I think this looks great. You are showing another side of your artistic personality here and I don't think you have to worry about falling off.

great use of color and pattern. I appreciate the quick hand in the pastel sketch... It makes think of how fleeting life is.

This is really quite cool, Jock! You didn't fall off the bike after all. Instead of reproducing the photograph, you painted the feeling of the scene - the blowing of the breeze, the movement of the water, the shifting of the leaves and the ever-changing sky. Well done!

Nice work, and I like the way it's presented in the Jocko style with the geometric background!
