Well done .... "When you learn how to die, then you'll learn how to live" (from the book, "Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom" - two years on the besteller list).

Yes intense emotion here, as I am a strong believer in writing and sharing pains of any kind, pains of others, our own personal pains, as that is what is sometimes needed as it takes the screaming to the world for the overwhelming pain inside to be free of the chains of despair and loss of hope for one to begin to grow to heal, get out from under the sorrow and the stress life sometimes brings upon our doorsteps for many reasons. As we reach, out with our words into the unknown the uncharted waters of our existence, sometimes finding a hand there to greet us and hold us up, and sometimes not, but not always needed the hand. Just the voice within us the words on paper, black on white, so that we may open the doorway of our inner cages freeing the demons of hurt. Excellent work! Keep writing!

A harrowing emotion-packed poem full of dark energy and pain. The note of hopelessness is continued throughout the piece and gives it a certain unity of purpose. But above all it's honest and direct. vote
