Description
Yesterday I decided to give Bryce 5 a try, so I bought it and spent the evening playing with materials and atmospheres and throwing my first render togheter...
All work in Bryce 5, no postwork whatsoever.
Suggestions are MUCH welcomed!

only thing might help that I see right off (and this may be the way the model's created, so you might be stuck with it..;) If you put the mouse over the missle silos, and ctrl+left mouse click, if the object can be separated, then you can use the 'e' button next to it to smooth it out. Just remember to let go once it starts, if it's still selected, you could pull the model apart, but kudos on a quick climb up the learning curve..looks pretty good for a first effort..

Other than the same thing about smoothing a couple of those parts, this is an excellent first render in Bryce. The atmosphere is awesome and your DOF is right on! Excellent work and keep rendering.

Thanks! Yes, model is not mine (found it on a website, no naming of the author), thank you for the tip (I think I'll have to print that 400-pages manual :P).

Respect on a great try! It took me a while to see what was going on in the b/ground...that carrier is ENORMOUS! LOL...great sense of scale here and the sea looks excellent. I'd do some work on the copter's rotors, and whatever Pakled said...you could also do worse than uping the rez a bit.....Well done!
