Latin name is Polygonia c-album.
Called a Comma because of a white mark on
the underwing which looks a bit like a comma.
The remarkable wing shape is an attempt to
use leaves as camouflage to protect them from
predators. Hope you like :o)

they have another buttie out there called 'a question mark' cause of the question mark on his wings... I have one of those in my gallery too! I love nature...sometimes...lol! Excellent shot my friend!
