Description
"
We, who not deny the animal of our nature
We, who yearn to preserve our liberation
We, who face darkness in our hearts with a solemn fire
We, who aspire to the truth and pursue it's strength
Are we not the undisputed prodigy of warfare
Fearing all the mediocrity that they possess
Should we not hunt the bastards down with our might
Reinforce and claim the throne that is rightfully ours
Consider the god we could be without the grace
Once and for all
Diminish the sub principle and leave it's toxic trace
Once and for all
"

Well, who knows the band name? ;)
OK, this is the third picture from a "Forgotten Land" serie. It's heavy influenced by two things: first - named above song, and second - gradient's works ;)
Got ages to render on my CPU... above 6 hours (@3500x2328), and when it has finished, 5 minutes later was a power down in my quarter. What a luck! :)
Postwork: starscape and the moon, levels, color balance and sharpening.
I hope you like it :) Any comments and/or critics are welcome.
And thanx to you all for comments and some guides to my last one.

First of all: I think it's Dimmu Borgir, right? - And yes, I like this image - it has a beautiful fantasy look - like an illustration for a book of fairytales...

Nice mood and lighting; good pov and surface; try using a 'screen' blend mode for the moon, rather than a 'normal' blend mode

Excellent work! Love the mood, lighting, terrain, and postwork!! My only nit-pick (and it's only a nit-pick) is that IMHO I think there are too many stars. Awesome image though...love it!

Excellent work. Very awesome planetscape. Great cloud/sky effects.

I like the postworked sky a lot. The moon looks good producing those rays.

You did a great job integrating the night sky with your clouds - seamless postwork here. I agree with environaut that there are too many stars or maybe they're just too evenly spaced (Some nights it looks like there are that many!) Wonderful picture!!!

Whoa!...love it!...especially beautiful lighting and you've got an excellent terrain and surface to capture it so nicely!!!...Congrats!

Very cool concept...agree there may be too many stars for this bright full moon but, its still cool...nice work!!!

This is a very beautiful piece of art. You have put a lot of work into it and it shows. Excellent artistry!

Agree with Bob, and about the stars... but it does give it a surreal quality that is quite appealing. Love it.

great terrain, surface and atmospere. but for me the moon hasn't to be there.

This is extremely fine rendering and post work. Interesting lyrics. The "throne" of "worldy" matters is always a power struggle. The "dance" goes on.
