Description

Sorry - no Himalayan mountains or gorgeous waterfalls accompanying this rainbow... Still I'm always fascinated when seeing one - and I wish I could have shared it with you in it's whole beauty - from one end to the other (the pot of gold must have been on the side that ended in that small lake). Unfortunately I couldn't step back far enough to get all of it into the image :-(

Oh, don't worry, Drea - it's still really gorgeous, even if it's not all of the rainbow :))) And who needs pots of gold when you have a talent and such beautiful views around you? :)))

Hey, this is still a great setting and an excellent shot! I missed a stunner the other day. A huge brilliant rainbow in front of a red sky with mountains lake and city.....I was kicking myself for not having my camera. Might never see that again.

Awesome, awesome... I just love that tiny tree in the middle of the field and how it shows the scale (something you miss with a lot of rainbow shots!).

Every rainbow has its own beauty and when you see it, enjoy it - carpe diem! Perhaps you're the only one noticing this natural movie! Very beautiful shot, notice the lighter part inside the bow (outside the light is broken and concentrated in the bow)!

Rainbows are always facinating, regardless of the landscape. Even that I'm not even close to Your level in photo skills, this makes me wish I had had a decent camera with me couple of weeks ago; I was driving homewards when I saw a rainbow straight ahead. And I do mean straight ahead. It literrally started from the road and rose upwards. A sight both beautiful and slightly creepy.
