Description

Here's the title page of the first episode of my sci-fi web comic/story hybrid '4th Moon Of Xyth'. For now only the image, the story starts on the next page ;) For those that can't wait till the next page, here's a small summary : the 4th moon of xyth is a huge ship that's send out to colonize a new planet, called xyth, far away from earth. During its long journey to xyth, mankind back home on earth finally gets itself extinct. On xyth they try to build and maintain a new world amids several alien races, of wich some posses amazing powers and are extremely hostile... I said its a story/comic hybrid cos i dont intend to do it the 'normal' comic style, most of the story will be told in text with large images, right now i'm thinking about doing the dialogues in comic style only, but i'll just see how it evolves. Next to the words and pictures i'll be providing some ambient soundscapes which will be downloadable for free and are to be listened to while reading the comic. The whole thing will be placed on my site : http://nulll.darkwood.com and i'll upload all images (and the text as well) to renderosity as soon as i finish a page. As for the image itself, it shows the '4th moon of xyth', leaving earth. The ship was 90% modelled in Wings 3D (my first model in wings 3D), details were added in Bryce. Texturing and rendering in Bryce as well and the background was made in Universe. Thanx for looking and hope to see you all on the next page of this first episode!
