Description
As you brush past my body
in your journey through time
I reach to be with you
and scream to your mind.
Please pause to listen
I've a lifetime to tell,
you captivate energy
I'm under your spell.
I want to be with you,
for you to love me,
we met for a reason
so hear my plea,
I understand freedom
the need to be one
but whilst being our person
can we not become...
the people we used to,
the ones from the past
long not forgotten,
together at last.

A really lovely rhythm ... it should be read out loud to get the full effect. The subject and development of the poem are both rich in nuances of feeling. vote

Yes, I to agree this poem when read aloud is amazingly delicious and rolls from the tongue smoothly tenderly parting of the lips in speech. Upon doing so, peacefulness then felt drifting out among the room in a loving embrace. It is rich, as meico has said, and fulfilling. Thank you for sharing. "Vote here as well"
