Description
This is my rescue dog, Buddy! When we adopted him 3 years ago, he had heartworms. Buddy had been chained to a tree for four years. We got him when he was going through the heartworm treatment, he weighed 40 lbs.
Buddy now is healthy, happy and lives the good life. The only remaining part of his former life is that he is afraid of thunderstorms (from being out in them).
This image is for Linda and Dirk.
The fractal frame was created in Tierazon, the photo, and lettering was added in PSP7.
Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy!~: )

What an adorable dog, I'm glad there are still people like you in the world! Wonderful frame!

Oh this is so much like my dog Tex, only difference is he's half springer, half border collie but the scrawny wreck of a rescue dog and fear of thunder is the same. He has the look of a collie but his face markings are identical to Buddy's even down to the spots on his nose. And they both have that doleful expression ;-) Does yours have spotty socks too? Both front legs. How anyone can be so cruel is beyond me.

Oh what a handsome boy! These sweethearts bring such joy to our lives. We already love Bubba like we've had him for years. Thanks, Helen, for posting this great picture of Buddy (my daughter has a rottweiler named Buddy), and the frame is very cool, as is the title. :)

Can't believe anyone would treat a springer that way. Breaks my heart. Buddy is lucky to have found his angel.

As a great animal lover, I cried when I read your narrative, but thankfully my tears turned to joy when I realised you'd saved him. Thank God for people like you. Anyone who treats animals badly should be shot in my view !!! Buddy is such a handsome fellow, and this is a most wonderful tribute to him, may the rest of his life be as happy as it is now. Big VOTE for Buddy AND the fractal !!!!!!!

So beautiful, thanks for this !! He looks like a gorgeous spaniel. Thankfuly, we don't get many spaniels in our shelter, they are rather an exception. But to counter my own point, we had 5 of them in the last 4 months, but they all have a new home by now. Even an 9 year old one!! If you want to take a look at the shelter were i work, this is it's webaddress www.ganzeweide.be It is all in dutch I'm afraid, but you can see pictures of our dogs and cats we have at the moment. And if you go to downloads and then Irish Wolfhounds you will find some older works of mine, from the mid till late 90's, featuring my two Irish Wolfhounds. Thank you again for this gorgeous image, and bless you for saving this happy looking buddy!!!
