This is an old poem I wrote ages ago which might explain why it's not so good :P Regardless, I hope you found a bit of enjoyment out of reading it :) Dreams of Dreams by David Levins [midrael] The moon above glows brightly in a canvas of stars That I paint as I wish, molding the cosmos Within my mind deep in the late night hours A time when I'm hero to the world and feared by foes. A bright tunnel lies before me A divine path meant only for me to tread And as I walk through the light, flying free I feel as if my soul is by others no longer being held. A world lies before my eyes that is vast And limited only by my wishes and desires Dragons fly overhead and future melds with past And the noble dead are honored with glowing pyers. When, on listless nights, I cannot find my way here I find myself staring into the light of moonbeams For the lack of dreams has brought many a tear And all I have for the moment are dreams of dreams.
