Panes Grey watercolor on Art board. painting size 2'x3' my first painting in 10 years.

I think the only thing this painting needs is a background, it kinda looks like it's floating in air at the moment. Watercolours often make an image look pale and boring, but you have managed to work the lights and darks in really well, and it looks metalic - which is hard to do with watercolour. Well done

I agree it did need a back ground the reason it does not is that the way it is getting framed and the location of the painting it will be cropped down and framed with 1939 in the matt. the painting was commisioned with no back ground.
