Description

Thanks for viewing ! Comments are welcome... I havent had to time to look up what kind of wasp it is, although im pretty certain that its of the burrowing kind. I'll get back to you on that. :o) Its either on its way to its burrow or its on its way to a burrow of another insect thats its gonna prey on. But i think it must be the first option :o) Hope you like it, tomorrow i'll upload a detailshot of this wasp. Thanks for all your very sweet comments on my last upload my great friends !!! It is very much appreciated and i guess im over it already. :o) Last upload: "Prickly Situation". P.S. I had to compress this shot considerably, but i didnt see any immediate quality loss. If you do see it, its because of the compression, sorry. Many thanks, Enmos

Now this is excellent!! So unusual to see an insect on the sand! Usually these kind of shots are taken on leaves or flowers!! This rocks big time! Love the idea and creativity here!! V

Did you put some sugar on the sand to get the wasp on the ground? ;o) A wonderful specimen you've caught here, Jeroen! Fantatsic shot!

Excellent macro as always! The details of this wasp is great, but i also love the other details you captured...the shell in the sand, as well as those green shoots just coming up through the dirt! Bravo!

Another fine capture. I like the way, your images tell a little more of that insects than just being fine macro-shots!

Very beautiful shot of this wasp on the sand! It's heading for the hills, that rugged country in front of it!
