It's a slow progression, as slow as time Where first events, promises, and emotions are lost. But as the future unfolds, eveything will vanish Until the last line of rememberance is crossed. Are our hearts so fragile that someone can disappear No matter how close we hold them to our heart? Eventually leaving emptiness that is unexplained And no reason for why we feel torn apart. The passage of time leads to fading memory As is written in mankind's fate, And all we can do is hope and pray That life will give us new memories to create.
