Fantastic. I love your use of simple marble maps to texture his parts. His face is adorable, and well constructed with a clean mesh all around. You should be very proud. My only crit is if you're 100% sure how you're going to bone him for posability. When you know, Please IM me and let me know as I'd love to keep in touch with this one.

Excelent modeling done here. The idea is outstanding and as it's a WIP ther is absolutley nothing I could complain about :) I realy would like to see it animated and fuly textured ... keep up the good work lad ;D

thanks for the comments I plan on working on the texutes a bit more to make them a little more uniform but different enough to give the model contrast
