Description
This is a rendering I did last year for my furniture design project at uni. The chair is finally built. The chair back is designed to be inflattable.
Brief: design and make a pieces of furniture that will survive, both structurally and stylistically, the depredations of the centuries! It should be a pieces that you will look at in your dotage and still think, 'yes, good one!'

I actually like the design. I wouldn't like to sit on it though =( Personally, I would have squashed the sphere a bit to make it more ergonomic. But I like the sterile design.

the sphere is designed to be inflattable, so it's soft and can fit to anyone's back, thanks for your comment anyway
