The idea has been done a few times to say the least. But in all honesty, this is one of the best I have seen. The tattered look of the helmet really adds to this. Great work!

Simple and effective...my favorite kind of image. Great composition and color balance. I'm not sure but I think the hole bothers me a little; seems too concrete. I'd prefer a little more mystery about this soldier's story.
