Description

Thanks for viewing. I have been playing with fire tonight (virtually). Wanted to get some whispy real looking flames without using photos. This is the result. Created with volumetric textures. Each fire is three objects consisting of red, yellow and white volumetric textures. You can put these textures into any shape. Once you select a shape, copy and paste for the other two colours (don't use duplicate as it offsets too far). Next you need to move each of the objects very slightly away from each other (or it won't work). 3 different fireballs are available in the download section at my site: http://www.sacada.com.au Credits: Abbey from Helmut Schubb Jamma's mate from DAZ (mod M3) Skyhop by Roman 'Mad Dragon' Deniskin

looks excellent to me. I have a problem with Safari and your site, but i will try it again on a windows machine. Or with Explorer. Anyway, the examples are fantastic. I will give it a try for sure.

Excellent Work! This is very similar to the technique I used to create my volcanic ashcloud for Mt. St. Helens. I'll have to try these out soon. Thanks!!

I really like the way you've presented these images. This is the most realistic and impressive Vue fire work I've seen, the conflagration in the lower left image is especially spectacular. Thank you very much for sharing the fireball props, I hope to be able to credit you in an image using them soon!
