Okay, I used the Photoshop plug-in Fountain-of-Youth filter. There's less hair and more gray these days, art will do that to you. BIO"Art is the elegant display of the structure of things. . . . We can only speak of art in poetic terms, when language is art. . . . it is experiencea moment of communion. . . . How easy to strip it bare with a few careless words."
Otto Roeper, Otto Roeper: Selected Prints 1935-1955
I was born in 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Prescott College in 1967, where I met Frederick Sommer who became teacher, colleague, friend, and with Francis, his wife, family.
Following stints in manufacturing, publishing, and international advertisingall the while writing, photographing, playing musicSommer gave me a house in Prescott, Arizona, where my wife and I have been since 1989.
I am project oriented; my websites www.wm-arts.com and www.oneoffpress.com, demonstrate my current state of affairs. From One-Off Press: "Miscellanea," 34 full color images of mine, and "Sometimes in Shadow" a suspense thriller with a fantasy twist.
