Description

A Humble Suggestion for Aiding in the Development of the Fertile Minds of the Future Adults of America My fellow colleagues and esteemed learned individuals, I, a college graduate and full-time scholar, have come forward to address a rather delicate problem that has rooted and birthed itself within our public education system. With arguments from misinformed parents and misguided faculty alike, we have reached a standstill and an insufficient armistice in regards to the teachings of evolution and creationism in our science classes. As religious and scientific zealots boast the superiority and pertinence of their given theory, our precious youth is inevitably being deprived of a future establishing education and a chance to truly move the world forward. The opposite sides of the arguments are well-presented and are not without their valid points and conclusions. The argument for evolution states that evolution is a valid scientific theory that could possibly explain the origins of our species and all the flora and fauna which surrounds us. Though it does not disprove the existence of a divine being, most of the more zealous supporters of the theory believe religion to be a man-made institution created to control masses and provide comfort for the simple why questions that have haunted our existence. Also, these supporters believe that the religious leaders do not posess the substantial evidence needed to support the belief that a divine being exists. Though the theory does help to provide an answer as to why we are the ruling species of the planet, it is certainly less than comforting to the fertile minds of the naive students. On the other side of the issue, the religious followers believe that evolution is a blasphemy to not only their divine being, but also to the human race itself. The simple notion that apes grew to the intelligent, sophisticated, and refined individuals housed by our societies is simply appalling. Also, in an effort to viciously reverse science onto the scientists, the religious followers claim that if their is an essential building block to life, then a divine being must have conceived of it. Also, if nature operates with such efficiency, surely then a divine being created the cycles which permeate throughout our world. The religious theory does help to provide moral support for the bastards and poorly disciplined students and the devout, hardworking, and behaved students alike, its answers for why we are here are less than satisfactory. Whatever the best system may be, the fact remains that our youth are being denied the benefit of learning and being educated due to the bickering and squabbling between the unyielding, fanatical adults. A solution must be reached. It is imperative for our children to have an uninterrupted, beneficial education. With our children

Well now .... Methinks you will be more 'disliked' than me now? .... lol .... whether one would agree or disagree with some or all of your assumptions, I must admit it was well written.
