Description

The first planet from scratch that looks promising. I'm still getting way lost after a certain point with the materials, and as you can see, my mountains are more than 50-60,000ft above sea level. I'd love some feedback to help with the materials.

Great shot!!! What area would like help with? It looks like you are using solid colors for your materials. Correct me if I'm wrong.. Using textures will give it more variety.

^^ I'd love to get more variance and texture in the grassy/green areas, along with more craginess to the rocks. Thanks!

I like the terrain and I think the distribution of the snow is very natural. But it would be nice to have some contarsted or darker material variation on the flat areas (on the foreground area for example)

Nice terrain features - looks realistic - unfortunately I'm still learning the prog too, so I'm not quite qualified to give unqualified advice (if you follow me) :)
