What's the old story (in Idries Shah?) about the Sufi and his student in the desert....Camel walks by, student asks the Sufi: "What does that remind you of". "Food," replies the Sufi. "Food!" exclaims the student, "You are not an Arabthat the noble beast that is the camel reminds you of food!" "You do not understand," replies the Sufi, "Everything reminds me of food."

Beautiful, Kurt. This is a great one. The dervish is simply perfect in form and movement. So is Good Wife's left eye!

Excellent abstract, Kurt! I like these colors and especially the spooky "dervish". This would be a cool Halloween image! Well done!

Well done. The good wife seems to be very sociable. What a dazzling dervish too I must add.

I thint tahat good wife-s left eye is made of glass-it explains why there is a reflexion of the dervish :) Dervish is really beautiful...there are so many shapes hidden in it! it's like looking into clouds-they are always in motion...

Always interesting this connection I feel with her, the Dervish- Rumi, one line from his poem'If' changed my life. I wonder how this encounter will change hers ? Great work, Kurt * no. 1 fan!!!

Well, maybe this time, Kurt, she has met her match - hope she doesn't feel too overwhelmed, and can go on with her adventures! Thanks again and again!

i think the good wife is about to be pounced upon by the whirling dervish. pounced upon and then attempt to eat her. but the good wife will spin quickly and suck the color and the life right out of the whirling dervish, just like my good wife does to me every day. not really...my wife is much too bland to be this good wife. not really...my wife is not a good wife. not really...oh nevermind. this is another great render, many great colors and what imagination.

Is Good Wife meeting the dervish or becoming it?! I love this one. The colours are incredible and intense - and I have to say, I identify more than a little with that terrible little dervish :-)
