Description

Latest in the Cub series. Yet another fantasy critter I always wanted to meet as a kid. I have to laugh as I notice Cub always appears to be eating... Hmmm... I am kinda round in my adulthood... Downright pudgy. Could this be my subconscious at work? (LoL!) I can't decide if I like the floating patch of ground, a semi-detatched piece of land, or full scenery background. While I like the way a smaller piece of ground focuses attention on the central character, if done correctly, a full background will accomplish the same thing. "Floating land" with white background does save on ink, though!

I don't think ya gotta worry about him eating, apples are good for you! Excellent piece, and I do like the "floating ground" it works well here :-)

I love these and I don't think you need a background. Reminds me of Norman Rockwell if he did fantasy art. Wonderfully touching and cute scene as well.
