Description

Well, the citadel is really small indeed. :) I imagined, how a wanderer must feel, when after a long journey (maybe full of adventures) he catches sight of his destination for the first time. Thank you for having a look and feel free to give advice. Britta

I really like this image for personal reasons. For the past 17 years I have been working on a mythology that is slowly being grafted into a series of books. This looks almost exactly like a place described in my works. The sun setting over the realm is also applicable to the tone of the relevant work. Great job - it almost looks like you stepped into my brain!

L'atmosphe est tr bonne mais le terrain pas assez vari trop rulier, notamment le bord des ces, ce qui appauvrit graphiquement ton image, nnmoins tr belle !

The composition is what really moves this piece to the next level. It has a very traditional look to it, as though it were late 1700s or early 1800s. Honestly (and I hope you take this as the complement it's intended to be), it looks like the art you would see in the lobby of a posh hotel or expensive office building. A wonderful, pastoral landscape that is designed to enhance a mood of serenity and peace with just a touch of oppulance. Also, as noted above, the colors are fantastic, too. And I'm very pleased with the way the clouds radiated from the center of the image, which is thankfully just a bit off-point of the distant castle/structure. A very mature choice to NOT have them radiate from the castle. This adds just a touch of sophistication.
