Description
Yesterday, Italian Lance Corporal Luca Sepe was the 27th soldier killed by Hodgkin lymphoma after his return from military operations in the ex-Jugoslavian Kosovo area. Even in his illness terminal stages, he wished to be present at the funerals in memory of the Italian soldiers killed by the bombing attack in Nassirya, Iraq.
Government still denies any correlations between the deaths and the presence of depleted uranium rounds in the war theater.

I heard somewhere that the US had quietly cut back the number of weapons using DU rounds, ostensibly because a more effective type of ammo had been developed. Im not sure if this is true or not, but if it is, then it would seem a tacit admission of the very real dangers DU posses. Hopefully, the story about DU ammo being phased out is true, and were not littering Iraq with poison that will kill both our soldiers, and the citizens of Iraq were supposed to be protecting with an indiscriminate and quiet death years after the last bullet has been fired.

It's hard to look at. But in a powerful way.
