I really like this image. I can't really give you technical advice as I am an Illustrator and Sculpture but I can give you an artist's view. I think it's excellent! Your water texture is wonderful; the colors are great; you've wisely added the shadows and the lighting is perfect; I like the foreground plants but the reeds in the back could use a few bent or broken ones; the yellow lily on the left is missing shadows on the pad and the deep purple on the right is missing shadow on the water. I can see no other problems in this and I urge you to keep rendering, playing and definitely posting!!

In my opinion the vegetation is to large (or the foot-bridge to small). A wooden texture on the planks also could help to improve your picture.

Well, You were already given some useful advices... So, I only will tell You that this scene is so ~~Lovely~~ The composition is GREAT, and I love the lighting and colors!! Keep up your Excellent work!
